2012 Marches Transport Festival

The 27th Marches Transport Festival took place over the weekend 7th & 8th May 2011 alongside the Ludlow Spring Festival - now enjoying its third year - both events being held in the glorious surrounds of Ludlow Castle.  Festival plans are well underway for 2012, when the events will take place over the weekend of Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May.  The event continues to bring its challenges; especially displaying on the Saturday without access to the Castle Square, only the Entertainment Square.  We hope to be able to have the small commercials, tractors and motorcycles in the Outer Bailey of the Castle grounds and the large commercials going onto the Entertainment Square.  We would also be delighted to welcome more club displays on the Saturday!

Our thanks go to the Earl of Powis and Powis Estate for allowing us the continued use of the Castle and also to the Ludlow Marches Food & Drink Festival for taking us under their wing so we can continue to run the displays for many years to come.
